IN THIS WORKSHOP
This course will be held for 1.5 months (12 Classes) in which the participants will be learning the fundamentals and basic techniques of Acting for camera in 6 stages
- 1. Being
- How to deal with and overcome the tension (Beginners biggest fear) through relaxation and breathing exercises.
- How to be aware in a healthy way with the body moment by moment and use it effectively.
- How to break down social obstacles to be free and expressive.
- The Actor will be taught “Moment by Moment” truth, and before working in the space he will learn how to start first with his own reality.
- 2. Sense Memory
- One of the greatest tools for the actor to be used in front of the camera.
- The Actor will be trained to use, amplify and be more connected to his 5 senses (vision, hearing …. Etc.) through sense memory exercises in order to develop a craft that he can rely on and use it for the camera.
- During the process the Actor will discover that emotions are Result not a decision and will be revealed naturally through basic and important steps.
- 3. Improvisation
- The Actor will learn the basic rules of improvisation and how to listen, observe & react moment by moment to his partner.
- How to use his/her imagination in a practical way to make the performance more playful and interesting.
- How to shut down Logic, be in the moment with his partner.
- 4. Preparation
- The Actor will learn the meaning of preparation physically and emotionally through basic and important steps, like any Athlete the Actor needs to be warmed up before stepping inside the game.
- How to breakdown any scene or monologue and work with the lines before shooting (6 basic questions)
- 5. Shooting
- “Acting for camera is Relaxation”, so in this stage the Actor will learn how to be relaxed before standing in front of the camera and how to maintain the tempo of the scene or monologue.
- Acting is not about what the character says, it’s about what the character does not say, in other words the Actor will learn how to speak in silence and how to show, reveal and express by using subtext and inner monologue techniques.
- 6. Final Project
- At the end of the course, each Actor will be assigned with a specific monologue for shooting.
AHMED TAHA ELGHAZALY
Ahmed is in his late 30s and has a Bachelor in Engineering, he started to follow his passion in Acting since 2017 through taking several intense Acting courses and workshops at ZAT Studio.
In parallel, he has also started his coaching journey through assisting Acting coaches before taking over full acting classes as an acting coach.
During this period, Ghazaly was able to participate in many short film projects, where he was awarded Best Actor for one of such projects in 2020 at Saqayat Al Sawy Festival for Short Movies.
Ghazaly has also been granted small roles in few movies and TV series, the latest was “منورة بأهلها “for Yousri Nasrallah that was aired at Shahid TV Platform.
Ahmed has gained special techniques in dealing with people on how to reach and achieve their Acting passion which will be fully delivered throughout the workshop.

- 50% of the workshop fees confirm your registration, if you did not pay before we get the maximum number of participants, your registration is not valid.
- You can also pay through Symple, 0% interest – 5 months installments
Refund Policy
- Before two weeks of the workshop starting date: Sep. 15th, participants will get a full-refund.
- During the last two weeks -from Sep. 16th and until Sep. 22nd- before the workshop starting date participants will get a 50% refund of the total price.
- One week before the workshop starting date: Sep. 23rd, participants can not refund their payment.
