التطبیق: البدء في كتابة التتابع الخاصة بحلقة أولى في مسلسل وفقا للفكرة المشتركة.

● كیفیة اعداد ملف شامل لمشروع سیناریو یتضمن، فكرة المشروع، وعدد حلقاتھ، والشخصیات، والمعالجة وتطور الأحداث؟
● كیف یمكن عرض مشروع السیناریو على جھات إنتاجیة؟
التطبیق: البدء في كتابة أول حلقة في المسلسل وفقا للفكرة المشتركة.
- الجلسة الثامنة
تبادل الخبرات بین المشاركین والحصول على تعلیقات تطویریة للمشروع الذي تم الاتفاق على كتابتھا خلال الجلسات السابقة.
عن عُبيّة
محمد هشام عُبيَّة، صحفي وكاتب سيناريو، يُعرف بجرأته في تناول المواضيع الحساسة في أعماله الدرامية. من أشهر مسلسلاته “بطلوع الروح”، الذي يتناول تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، وقد حقق نجاحًا جماهيريًا ونقديًا واسعًا، وفاز بجائزة أفضل سيناريو من جوائز النقاد للدراما العربية. كما حقق مسلسله “60 دقيقة” نجاحًا ملحوظًا كأول مسلسل عربي يتناول بعمق قضية “الاستغلال الجنسي”.
كتب أيضًا سيناريو مسلسل “رسالة الإمام”، الذي فاز بجائزتين لأفضل مسلسل طويل من لجنة تحكيم إذاعة NRJ الفرنسية بنسختها العربية. وساهم في كتابة مسلسل “كل أسبوع يوم جمعة”، الذي رُشح لجائزة إيمي العالمية في فئة أفضل ممثلة. كما قام بكتابة مسلسل “منتهي الصلاحية”، الذي تناول جوانب اجتماعية ونفسية بطريقة إنسانية وعميقة.

Workshop Objective
treatment for a short TV series, aim to write the first episode, and understand how to pitch the project to production companies.
Session 1
● What exactly is a screenplay?
● Where do ideas come from?
● What is a logline?
● What is a plot?
● How can we build a strong plot?
Application:
Watching the first episode of a short series.
Exercise:
Applying concepts learned in the session to analyze the episode and understand how the idea
of the series was developed.
Session 2
● How to choose the main character of the screenplay?
● How to build the psychological and social structure of characters?
● How to create a central problem for the protagonist?
● What is the purpose of the story and why this protagonist?
Application:
Watching a short film or episode.
Exercise:
Analyzing character development after viewing.
Session 3
● What is a treatment and why is it important?
● What are the key goals of writing a treatment?
● What is the appropriate length of a treatment?
● What are the main elements of a treatment?
● How can we write an engaging treatment?
Application:
Reviewing and analyzing a treatment of a previously produced screenplay.
Exercise:
Starting to select a group idea for participants to collaboratively build and develop.

● What is a sequence (detailed outline)?

Exercise:
Reviewing and analyzing a sequence from a produced series episode.
Application:
Beginning character development for the shared idea.
Session 5
● How to write a scene?
● What is the difference between screenplay and dialogue?
● What are the narrative techniques used in screenwriting?
● Tips for writing an effective scene.
Exercise:
Reviewing scenes from a produced series episode and analyzing them.
Application:
Starting to write the treatment for the shared idea.
Session 6
● The importance of dialogue in a scene.

Reviewing dialogue scenes from a produced series episode and analyzing them.

Starting to write the sequence for the pilot episode of the shared idea.
Session 7
● How to prepare a comprehensive pitch document for a script project, including concept,
episode count, characters, treatment, and plot development?

Application:
Beginning to write the first episode of the series based on the shared idea.
Session 8
Sharing experiences among participants and receiving constructive feedback on the project
developed throughout the previous sessions.
ABOUT OBAYYA
Mohamed Hesham Obayya, a journalist and screenwriter, is known for the boldness of the subjects he addresses in his dramatic works. His most famous series, “Rise of the Spirit,” which tackles the extremist organization ISIS, achieved both popular and critical success, winning the Best Screenplay award from the Critics’ Award for Arab Drama. His series “60 Minutes” also garnered notable success as the first Arab series to delve deeply into the issue of “sexual exploitation.” He wrote the screenplay for the series “The Imam’s Message,” which won two awards for Best Long Series from the judging panel of the French NRJ Radio in its Arabic edition. He also contributed to writing the series “Every Friday” which was nominated for an Emmy Award in the Best Actress category.
